What Makes Our Coffee Special

At Rocky Specialty Coffee, our beans are more than just coffee, they are a legacy of altitude, passion, and purpose. Grown at 1500–2000 meters above sea level in the fertile volcanic soils of Mt. Kilimanjaro, our Arabica coffee is cultivated with care by smallholder farmers, processed with precision, and roasted with intention.

“We believe in preserving origin flavor, empowering our farmers, and delivering an exceptional farm-to-cup experience.”

Core Focus: Premium Quality | Ethical Sourcing | Sustainable Impact

Our Coffee Varieties

We grow and process 100% Arabica coffee using two methods: washed and natural/anaerobic. Each method creates a unique flavor profile.

KP
Fruity aroma, floral notes, and a smooth milk chocolate finish.
Washed process for a clean, bright cup.

Compact
Nutty, sweet, and chocolatey with a smooth body.
Natural or anaerobic process for bold, complex flavors.

Processing Ratio

90% Washed – Clean, vibrant acidity

10% Natural/Anaerobic – Rich, fruity, adventurous

Our Coffee Grading

We grade our coffee according to international specialty standards to ensure top quality in every bean.

  • AA – Full-bodied with vibrant acidity

  • AB – Balanced, sweet, and nuanced

  • PB (Peaberry) – Intense, smooth, and refined

  • GRINDER – Ideal for blends and bulk-use espresso

Each grade goes through strict quality checks to meet specialty coffee standards.
